About us
P256Q@438 is a self-contained building, which houses eleven classes ranging from Pre-K through the 5th grade; we also have an inclusion program housed across the street within PS114Q. Our program implements the Treatment and Education of Autistic and Communication related handicapped Children (TEACCH) methodology while following an alternate assessment curricula, that is aligned to Common Core Learning Standards (CCLS). Our students enjoy experiences in the visual arts, music, physical education and science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) based activities. We also host various special events and field trips to explore the community, which are supported by our teachers and related service providers.
Ratios served include: 8:1:2, 6:1:1, 8:1:1, 12:1:1 and 8:1.
