Comprehensive Education Plan 2024-2025
Priority 1: All students learn to read well
- By June, 2025, literacy for Students with Disabilities (SWD) will improve, as measured by a 3 points Increase, from 53 to 56 percentage points , for improvement with phonemic skills to support student's learning to read on the Fundations Intervention Placement Inventory.
Priority 2: All students are physically and emotionally safe
- By June, 2025, physical and mental wellness for Students with Disabilities (SWD) will improve, as measured by a 2 Increase, in percentage points from 80 to 82, per the NYC School Survey results.
Priority 3: All students have a high quality academic experience
- By June, 2025, the students' ability to improve in participating in class discussions will Increase by 3 percentage points from 55 to 58, for Students with Disabilities (SWD), as measured by NYC School Survey results.
Priority 4: All students graduate college and career ready and have a strong plan and pathway to economic security
- By June, 2025, the credits earned aligned with College and Career Readiness for Students with Disabilities (SWD) will Increase by .5 credits from 0 to .5 as measured by 256Q Progress to Graduation
Priority 5: All districts and schools are more inclusive and responsive for parents and families, including having more families choose NYC Public Schools
- By June, 2025, the school will improve in helping families support our students in transitioning from middle to high school and HS to college and/or career with an increase by 2 from 87.5 to 89.5 as measured by NYC School Survey results.
Chronic Absenteeism
- By June, 2025, the attendance rate for Students with Disabilities (SWD) will increase by 2, from 74 to 76, as measured by the Insight Platform.
- By June, 2025, the attendance rate for English Language Learners (ELL) will increase by 2, from 66 to 68, as measured by the Insight platform.
Quality IEP
- By June, 2025, to strengthen the quality and implementation of IEPs for Students with Disabilities (SWD), we will improve the number of IEPs out of compliance by a 2 percentage point Decrease, from 11 to 9, as measured by SESIS - Summary of IEPs Not Completed Report.
